SGI Culinary is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.
Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
We are committed to providing safe, quality and nutritious meals to our students and staff.
****ALL CHILDREN 18 AND UNDER RECEIVE FREE BREAKFAST, FREE LUNCH AND FREE REMOTE MEALS UNTIL THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR! THIS INCLUDES WEEKEND MEALS!
Remote meals are being offered to families during these unprecedented times. These meals are available by ordering them by phone at 592-3271. They are available on Wednesdays from 2pm-4pm at CES,SES AND SMS. If you have more than one child attending more than one building, pick -ups will be at the middle school.
WE ARE NOW OFFERING WEEKEND MEALS WITH THE REMOTE MEAL PICK UPS ON WEDNESDAYS!
Meals AS OF 10/21/20 consist of 5 Grab& Go breakfasts(ready to heat & eat or freeze), 5 lunches (ready to heat& eat or freeze) and 1/2 gallon of 1% milk. ( Lunches will be in multi-use microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe containers while available)
Orders MUST be pre-ordered and placed by 9pm Sunday the week before for the following week. The more notice we have the more manageable it is for our teams. All families ordering remote meals will only need to call to set up meals, as they will be in an ongoing rotation, you will only need to sign up once. All menus posted show the meals that will be assembled for remote meals on Wednesday. These change weekly and will not be adjusted unless your child has special dietary requirements or allergies. If you child has special dietary requirements please inform the nurse in your child's respective building. All information is kept confidential. When placing orders, please include the following:
-Name of parent/guardian of person ordering and picking up meals
-Student name/s & school/s
-Contact phone number
-Any known allergies.
. Ex: Order by Sunday,9/13 at 9pm by leaving a voicemail for the week of 9/14-9/18.
Jane Smith,mom, is ordering for Bill & Sally Smith at SMS , number 592-xxxx, Billy has a peanut allergy
